Jewelry Care

AISH jewels are the ultimate in luxury costume jewelry, and like all valued treasures should be handled with care.

Silver, gold and brass are soft metals that can scratch and dent and semi precious stones can be chipped and / or shattered if struck against a hard surface with force. It is best to store your pieces in the original packaging or in a protective box / pouch to avoid damage and scratching.

We recommend never wearing your jewels in water and storing the pieces away from heat and sunlight.

Perfumes, dust and everyday use can wear at your jewels, so try to keep contact with cosmetics, lotions and any other potions down to a minimum.

To maintain your jewels, we recommend the use of a soft cloth with gentle rubbing. However, please be aware that any vigorous scrubbing will take off the layer of gold plating. Over time the layer of gold plating will wear off and we recommend you then have your jewelry re-plated.

We do not recommend the use of silver dips or chemical cleaners on plated items.

Here’s a tip! If you are allergic to gold plated earrings, necklaces, bracelets, or get a reaction when wearing them, try putting a little bit of clear nail varnish on the post and scroll! When it eventually wears off, just re-apply it!

Gemstones and precious metals can naturally diminish over time, but with the proper care your AISH jewels will sparkle for years to come.

Most importantly, to keeping your jewels looking fabulous wear them with a smile!
